Chet Kumar

Chet is an Associate on the venture and growth investment team at Argonautic Ventures. He has six years of investing, consulting, and technology experience. Before Argonautic, he served as a growth equity investor at NewSpring Capital's healthcare fund in Philadelphia, where he was responsible for all stages of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio value creation, and used his technical background to add perspective to investments in tech-enabled services and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Prior to NewSpring Capital, Chet served on the investment team at Edward-Elmhurst Health Ventures, on the growth strategy team at Surgical Solutions, and on the consulting team at Pariveda Solutions, where he was a founding member of their nationwide machine learning and data science practice while concurrently selling and leading both strategic and technical engagements in advanced analytics and data engineering for enterprise clients across Agriculture, Manufacturing, Industrials, Healthcare, and Logistics. Chet earned a Bachelor of Science in Computational Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
