Marcus J. Kwon

Marcus serves as a Managing Partner and Head of Asia for Forstmann & Co.. He has more than two decades of management experience with a track record of more than $20 billion in transactions during his professional tenure. His track record at Forstmann & Co includes Taylor Made Golf M&A, Homeplus Hypermart Portfolio, Young-City, Center Point West, and the HildesHeim Golf Resort among others. Previously, Marcus served as Senior Partner at KPMG Korea, and Head of Real Estate where he led his team in numerous transactions including Homeplus M&A, KEB Hana Bank HQ and GS Parnas M&A. His team was awarded as the “Best Advisor of the Year in Korean Real Estate Industry” by EuroMoney for two consecutive years. Prior to KPMG, Marcus served as a Managing Director for Macquarie Securities where he managed critical real estate and executed general corporate transactions. Prior to Macquarie Securities, he worked for CBRE Korea and Ssangyong E&C. Marcus received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Yonsei University.
