Michael O’Loughlin is a Managing Partner at Argonautic Global, leading the firm’s investment strategy in Fintech, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Assets across the Middle East. With over two decades of experience in banking, consulting, and venture investments, he has been at the forefront of financial innovation, working with global institutions, governments, and regulators to shape the future of fintech and emerging asset classes.

Before joining Argonautic, Michael was pivotal in developing Saudi Arabia’s fintech ecosystem, advising the Saudi Central Bank, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive regulatory advancements and market growth. He has held leadership roles in global financial institutions, guiding the adoption of blockchain, digital currencies, and emerging payment technologies while influencing policy and investment strategies at the highest levels.

Beyond venture capital, Michael remains an active advisor to fintech startups, governments, and multinational organizations, helping bridge the gap between innovation and regulation. He has contributed to research on digital identity, financial inclusion, and cross-border payments and frequently speaks at global conferences on the future of finance and technology.
