Min Kim

Min is a seasoned investment professional with more than 20 years of experience in various verticals and sectors. Prior to Argonautic, he served as Managing Partner at And Beyond, a lifestyle focused venture accelerator in Korea, leading 10 professionals. Prior to And Beyond, Min was Vice President of Carlyle Korea responsible for all aspects of the Private Equity investment process. While at Carlyle, Min successfully closed, managed, and exited over $300 million of growth and buyout transactions also serving as BOD for 2 portfolio companies. Prior to Carlyle, Min was Senior Vice President of CDIB Capital Korea, the growth capital arm of CDFH, one of the largest merchant banks in Asia. While at CDIB Min sourced, evaluated, and closed 4 investments totaling $60 million. Min also managed a $100 million portfolio comprised of 5 companies and was deeply involved in growing, monitoring and divesting while serving on the BOD for 2 investees. Min began his career as an Investment Manager for VC, Distressed PE and PE divisions at KTB Network, one of the largest Korean PE/VC closing 10 investments totaling $30 million and managing 20 investees totaling $40 million. Min earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Material Sciences from Yonsei University.
